Love With Grace: Creativity

“The most authentic thing about us is our capacity to create, to overcome, to endure, to transform, to love and to be greater than our suffering.” ~ Ben Okri

A Thought On Love…

After Jan passed, I wrote a book on grieving.

It is called, Grieve With Grace™: Beyond Acceptance.

People write to me and tell me it made them cry and it changed their lives.

We all need to grieve when we face a catastrophic loss.

Just not forever.

If you have read the book or listened to the audio you know I am positive and action-oriented.

I am on a mission to cement Jan’s legacy, and the next step in my process is the last step in the grieving and healing process…

Acceptance.

Accepting our loss and accepting the responsibility for life after grief.

So we can love and be loved again.

As you all will find, after you crossover the valley of dread and rise high above your river of tears, life will become your “new normal”.

I hate to use these words but they are true.

Your old normal is lost forever in the sea of time. We now face a new way of living.

And the centerpiece of this has to be LOVE.

Love for yourself… love for your family… love for others… and perhaps if you are so inclined, to find the love of your life for the rest of your life.

The Creativity Connection…

In the end, loving is the ultimate act of creation.

We create hope… opportunity… freedom… bliss… the list is in fact endless as the grains of sand on the beach.

This week, in honor of Saint Valentine, I am going to pen a few words on love — random thoughts for sure, but thoughts I will need to complete my story and my newest book.

God Bless,
Eric Richard Haas
