Really, Me?

“If you look for truth, you may find comfort in the end; if you look for comfort you will not get either comfort or truth only soft soap and wishful thinking to begin, and in the end, despair.” ~  C. S. Lewis

The Journey From Despair to Grace…

I like to think of life as a series of journeys.

Young to old, silly to smart!

Filled with memories that do in fact last a lifetime…

Yours, and everyone around you.

You can choose to remember the good times, the high points of your life…

Or you can go into “default mode” and choose to remember the low points.

When we suffer a great loss it is easy to focus on the loss, not the journey from your now “new normal” to your “next new normal”.

The journey from despair, hopelessness, and helplessness begins with a single step, a step that must be taken With Grace.

Yes, you will be faced with demons from the past, and confusion about the future.

Yes, you really!

But if you build your bridge of Grace, you will find a better road to keep your journey on the path to enlightenment.

After all, Jesus promised this, “I am the way and the truth…”

When you find yourself at the crossroads of Despair or Grace…

Choose Grace.
